Three Skills Universities have been envisioned under the aegis of Takshinda Foundation. These have been planned in Ujjain (Madhya Pradesh), Dharamshala (Himachal Pradesh) and Goa. All our universities have been designed to give a global competitive edge to our students not only in terms of modern amenities but also from the angle of developing outstanding skill sets coupled with respect for India’s value threshold in order to enable them to be responsible citizens and balanced individuals.
We’ll equip our students with the contemporary skill sets in the backdrop of India’s rich cultural heritage. We’ll synergize the modern teachings and technologies with the strong values of the Indian culture. This will give them the skill sets required by the modern Industry in an international environment.
Vocational education and training system will be followed where students will spend half of the duration of their course in the university premises and other half will be spent in the industry of their respective faculty.

With our tie-ups with over 500 companies in India, we’ll provide confirmed placement to every student in the industry belonging to the faculty of their course.
Our students will gain international exposure through our tie-ups with foreign governments wherein we will not only have exchange programmes with top foreign colleges/universities but also provide exposure to their respective industries.
VET system will constitute of 60% Practical and 40% Theory. The Skill component will essentially cover skills needed in a given skill area to sustain in a global work environment. To supplement the skills acquired at the university, students will be sent for Industrial training every alternate semester.
The courses have been designed in such a manner that a student will be able to get entry and exit at any point during their tenure and will be provided a suitable Award/certification/degree.
In addition to the technical skills, the students will be given extensive training in soft skills, communication skills, behavioral sciences and languages. They will be trained with a view to have the capacity and capability to grow from plain skilled workers to senior executives and managers.
