WOMEN EMPOWERMENT
Women Empowerment includes the action of raising the status of women through education, awareness, literacy, and training. It is all about equipping and allowing women to make life-determining decisions through the different problems in society.
In India, a total of 3,09,546 cases of crime against women (both under various sections of IPC and SLL) were reported in the country during the year 2013. Over 120,000 women a year suffer domestic violence, over 1,25,000 cases of physical and mental assault and many more.
We believe that education is the key to drastically reducing these figures and our efforts towards this have made a huge impact. Education plays a critical role in Women’s Economic Empowerment. It takes the center stage. But for long, most women especially in the rural areas have been denied this right and have been subjected to very degrading practices and responsibilities. Education empowers girls to achieve more in their social, career, economic and family lives. To women, education can mean going to class or being trained on capacity building and skills development or better yet being mentored on very essential aspects. That said, we believe that denying education to women and girls not only hinders equality and fairness but also hinders the economic growth of our society. Let’s educate women.

EDUCATION TO ALL
Education is both the means as well as the end to a better life. It is a movement from darkness to light. Without education, people get caught in the inter-generational cycles of poverty and backwardness.
Since India is a vast country, both geographically and demographically, government alone cannot bring all children into the fold of education. Even today, 17.7 million children in India are out of school. The retention rate in schools is still abysmally low and many children drop out even before completing class 8. In such a scenario, the role of the civil society becomes more important in order to ensure that the benefits of education reach the lowest strata of the society.
Our NGO have been spearheading the movement to provide quality education to the most marginalized and deprived children of India. With programmes in the most remote and marginalized areas of India, we ensure that the benefits of the Right to Education Act reach the most deprived children. The idea is to ensure that all children, irrespective of their origin, can go to school, play, interact and learn with other children of their age so that they secure for them a life of dignity and contribute to the betterment of the economy.
We train teachers to impart learning using child-friendly and interactive teaching-learning methods. The NGO sets libraries and infrastructure right, conducts computer and English classes, promotes and facilitates extra-curricular activities and sports.
Together with existing government support, we can ensure that no child is left behind when it comes to getting education.
AGRICULTURE UPLIFTMENT
Agriculture in India has evolved over the years from traditional ways of growing to more innovative sustainable methods. Despite the Indian economy opening to the world and touching the height of globalization, a major part of the population still depends on agriculture for its livelihood. Besides providing food to the nation, agriculture consumes labor and contributes to the market for industrial goods.
It’s true that innovative methods are constantly emerging to simplify processes, but still, people are turning to the cities leaving the agricultural farming land unattended.
We aim to implement more improved and sustainable technologies to farming. We support to connect agriculture with education and generate employment opportunities within the village itself which makes the village self-sustainable.
We have tie-ups with different countries wherein we use their expertise and innovation techniques to teach our local farmers. They learn to produce crops more efficiently by fully utilizing the natural resources while also simultaneously learning waste management.
